New Hire Announcement: Robert Sibley

For the past few years Rob’s focus has been on new product development and innovation management.  Rob’s experience in building new products and services, and his steadfast focus on market and client needs, will bring great value to Systemscope’s Service Excellence practice.  Most recently, Rob led the creation of an Enterprise 2.0 and Social Media solution that was successfully deployed to, and adopted by, one of the largest organizations in Canada.  Robert has spoken at many events about Web 2.0 and Social Media and how organizations can begin to adopt these tools while ensuring they deliver business value.

Rob also brings extensive experience in a professional services capacity, having helped clients in a variety of organizations in both the private and public sectors.  He has crafted business strategies and plans for clients to move toward desired future states, constructed business cases to help clients access the funding required to generate the expected return, developed new service offerings to help clients meet market needs, as well as improved the delivery of existing services to help clients reduce costs and increase client satisfaction.

Robert brings with him a Sociology and Psychology degree from Carleton University, an MBA from the University of Ottawa, and a New Product Development Professional designation.

Systemscope GTEC Session Messages Acknowledged by the Ottawa Citizen

Thom Kearney of the Treasury Board Secretariat’s CIO Branch, who presented at one of our open workshop sessions during GTEC this year with Jane Stewart – Systemscope’s Director of Web Channel Management – made an impression with session participants as well as with the Ottawa Citizen.  Kearney’s work with GCPedia, a government version of Wikipedia aimed at allowing federal employees to share information and collaborate, was acknowledged as the article draws attention to the Government of Canada’s efforts to become a more open and collaborative organization, internally and externally.
