Phil Culhane

Director of Practice Support

Phil Culhane is the Director of Practice Support at Systemscope, acting as support for all three Practice Leads. He also works as a Business Transformation Architect, offering clients over 20 years of experience providing consulting services in the areas of strategic planning, whole systems change, facilitation, service delivery and information management projects.

Phil has extensive experience in providing business transformation and change management services, giving him a unique background that allows Systemscope’s customers to realize the value of feasible service solutions within the context of their mandate. His understanding of the Government of Canada’s policies, practices, and culture contributes to his ability to propose workable, reliable, and repeatable solutions for Systemscope’s public sector clientele.

Phil has more recently focused on whole-system transformation initiatives, including business vision & strategy, service delivery strategies, business case development and stakeholder engagement events for private sector clients in healthcare, transportation, entertainment and communications, as well as across a breadth of public sector departments and agencies at all three levels of government. He has significant experience in drawing together large stakeholder groups of 100 or more people for meaningful dialogues, enabling them to reach consensus and achievable action plans to move forward on systemic change initiatives.

Phil is also the only Systemscope employee to have an unattributed NHL assist to his credit. Ask him about it over a coffee sometime!
