Job Description
Systemscope is looking for a proven Intermediate IM Consultant/Practitioner for its IM Practice. The role involves participation in various government IM projects with the goal of moving from intermediate to senior practitioner over time.

The ideal candidate will have:
- 6 years of consulting or work experience in IM-related fields
- 6 years of consulting or work experience the Canadian federal
government context
- Minimum bachelor's degree, post-graduate preferable (MLS and/or
IM subject matter certifications an asset)
Proven experience in:
- Planning and conducting consultations with government stakeholders,
clients, senior management
- Development and delivery of presentations for middle management
(Managers, Chiefs, Directors)
- Development and delivery of training
- Development of typical business documentation, such as: project plans, charters, business cases, reports, proposals, communications plans, etc.
- Development of typical government documentation, such as: policies, directives, standards, guidelines
- Small project team management
Skills/abilities:
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills – both
verbal and written in English
- Training and presentation skills
- Strategic and critical thinking skills
- Ability to support government IM professionals in advancing
their business agendas
- Ability to effectively lead small (1 to 3 people) project teams
(project management, thought leadership, active practitioner)
- Ability to work effectively on project teams under the leadership
of others
- Ability to project manage the implementation of projects
- Ability to participate in multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to manage both end-client and business requirements
- Ability to manage time effectively and work with minimal supervision
Areas of knowledge (please apply a ranking: none, some knowledge,

- Government of Canada IM policy landscape
- IM awareness and education
- MGI implementation activities
- Records management
- Electronic records and document management (RDIMS)
- EDRMS/WCMS and/or Case Management Systems
Other assets:
- Client relationship management
- Experience working in a consulting environment
Conditions:
Full time employment or subcontractor, salary negotiable.
Location of work is the National Capital Region.

clearance, or ability to obtain clearance.
