Job: Service Design Consultant

We are looking for a service design consultant to join our team, helping to infuse user-centred design into our Government of Canada consulting engagements, ultimately transforming how our clients deliver government services to Canadians.

Responsibilities:

As a Systemscope Service Design Consultant, you will:

• Lead consulting projects for our Government of Canada clients to improve the delivery of services to Canadians

• Facilitate co-creation, ideation and solutioning sessions with senior government leaders

• Produce service design deliverables (e.g. personas, scenarios, prototypes, blueprints, storyboards) to communicate and drive transformation

• Contribute to a growing team of user experience designers and consulting capability at Systemscope

Must have:

You love applying user-centred design principles to explore user/client needs

You are passionate about understanding processes and analyzing where improvements can deliver a more streamlined experience

You have facilitated design thinking and other user-centred design workshops

You enjoy solving problems using creativity and co-design

You can quickly and clearly communicate using visual techniques

You hold or are eligible for GC Security clearance

Post-secondary education

Nice to have:

You can work effectively in both English and French

You have GC Secret (Level II) clearance

You are creative and have interaction design experience


Ideally, you have education and/or 5+ years of experience in the above areas, however, we are building out our team at all levels.
