Export Development Canada (EDC)
An accomplished strategist and award-winning eBusiness professional, Kate Voltan has a proven track record in developing and managing successful online programs for both the private and public sectors.
As the Senior e-Government Advisor for Export Development Canada (EDC), Kate oversees the corporation's eTrade GoC Program. She also leads and optimizes the performance of EDC's Government Online (GOL) partnerships and online services by identifying, developing, and implementing strategic opportunities for EDC with other Government departments and agencies. Kate recently won the 2006 Public Service Award of Excellence for "Excellence in Citizen-Focused Service Delivery" for her work on this program.
Before joining EDC, Kate was Director of e-Marketing for an e-marketing company and Marketing Manager for an email marketing start up, both in Ottawa's high-tech sector, as well as a key contributor at the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), Information Technology, Government On-Line, Project Management Office.
