Systemscope is pleased to announce that the firm’s partners,
Denis Barbeau and Stephen Karam, have completed the transaction
to buy the remaining shares from company founders and owners Larry
and Helen Duff. Mr. Duff continues to provide advice and direction
to senior managers and business owners on matters involving critical
management decisions.
This transaction represents a two-year acceleration of the company
buyout schedule and is a direct reflection of Systemscope’s
transition and growth in the three practice areas that make up
the firm: E-Government, Information Management and Management
Consulting.
The accelerated buyout is another key milestone in the successful
history of Systemscope, which remains one of the few “boutique”
firms offering strategic services in a highly competitive and
consolidated National Capital Region market. The new ownership
structure will allow the firm to continue to build upon the excellent
partnerships that Systemscope currently enjoys with over 20 federal
government departments and agencies.
